Master Upset Recovery and Earn Your CFI Spin Endorsement
Specialized, safety-focused spin training for CFI applicants and pilots seeking advanced aerodynamic understanding.
Understanding how an aircraft enters, sustains, and recovers from a spin is one of the most critical skills a pilot can possess. Whether you are a CFI applicant fulfilling your mandatory FAA requirements under 14 CFR 61.183(i), or a private pilot looking to increase your safety margins through upset recovery training, our spin training program is designed to build unparalleled confidence.
The Spin Training Curriculum

In-Depth Ground School
Before we ever step into the airplane, we spend significant time in the classroom. We will dissect the aerodynamics of stalls and spins, discuss center of gravity (CG) effects, and thoroughly review the specific spin recovery procedures (PARE) for our training aircraft.

Flight Execution
In the air, we will practice recognizing the early signs of a cross-controlled stall, execute intentional incipient and fully developed spins, and perform precise, textbook recoveries.

Instructional Technique (For CFI Applicants)
If you are training for your CFI certificate, we will focus heavily on how to teach stall/spin awareness to your future students and how to recover safely if a student inadvertently enters a spin.
This training is conducted in an aircraft specifically certified for intentional spins, prioritizing your safety while providing an exhilarating and deeply educational experience. Upon successful completion, CFI applicants will receive the required logbook endorsement.
